The Kick-Off will be Tuesday, November 9th, and the final turn in date is set for Tuesday, November 30th. PTA will also be offering See’s Candy. The MJHS Sprit Wear went all right, the order has been placed. If there are more students interested in purchasing Sprit Wear, we can possibly make another order once this order has been passed out. We will be sending home PTA Membership packets will be sent home with the magazine fundraising packets.

Kathy to pay PTA Membership & Insurance fees to meet the deadline, and stay in good standing, and membership drive will follow.

packets.
o Fundraising: Kathy C. presented a fundraising opportunity. Garlic gift sets. She will forward the flyer for distribution and leave the gift set in the office for parents to see/purchase.

Corporate Dollars Available BUT WE NEED YOUR HELP
(and it won’t cost you a penny)
*Attention ALL Parents*
IT’S TRUE! Many businesses are willing to donate 3% to 10% of the purchase price and that translates into hundreds of dollars for your PTA. All you need to do is spend 5 minutes at www.escrip.com and register the store cards, debit cards or credit cards you most often use when you shop. Stores like Pep Boys, Macy’s, Vons, Big 5, Eddie Bauer, Carrows Restaurants, and many more are willing to kick in big bucks and it comes out of their pocket instead of ours.
WOW! INCREDIBLE! EASY MONEY!
So, please, right now, go to a computer, go online, type in escrip.com and register or renew for Matilija PTA. Next, cruise the website and check the list of participating merchants. Lastly, write yourself a note to ask family and friends if they would be willing to support our kids. It’s easy and anyone, anywhere can participate. If you need help or have any question just give me a call at 640-9988. Thanks for all your help.
SCRIP - We have a SCRIP program @ Matilija. The PTA can earn 2% to 20% from the vendors who are involved. With parents and staff participation, the PTA will have a successful year, and that in turn benefits our school and students.
If you have any questions, or would like to purchase SCRIP, you may contact Arlene Gagnon in the Library @ 640-4355 X1680
