There are two distinct programs, Medi-Cal and Healthy Families. Medi-Cal offers medical, dental and vision services at no cost.  Healthy Families offers the same insurance at a very low cost.  The difference between qualifying is the family income. Both programs offer high quality plans through several insurance programs, depending on where you live and your financial circumstances.
