Message from the Principal
San Antonio School is an ideal choice for families looking for a small school where students are loved and appreciated. San Antonio has a wonderful staff of teachers and support personnel who are dedicated to helping students reach their full potential. Together we strive to create an environment that balances strong academic learning along with positive character development.
Parents, please check our school schedule. Just click on "Daily Schedule/Transportation" at left to find a detailed bell schedule. Please note, grades 1-6 are dismissed at 2:10 p.m. each week day except for Wednesday. On Wednesday all students are dismissed at 12:05 p.m. The school lunch program is available every day of the week, with the exception of the last day of school.
Our weekly assemblies, one of San Antonio's special traditions, are held in our lovely amphitheater. We gather as a whole school to share the flag salute, sing patriotic songs and to learn about upcoming events and PTO activities. Most importantly, we make time to recognize student achievement and to honor exemplary behavior among the student body. Our Chair of Distinction is reserved for students whose outstanding behavior exemplifies the characteristics we promote, especially kindness and friendship. We hope you can join us to see the campus in action. The view is especially beautiful, with the campus encompassed by orange groves and a backdrop of the Topa Topa mountains.
I invite you to visit our campus by making an appointment through our office at (805) 640-4373. We would love to take your on a tour of the school and answer any questions you may have on enrollment, curriculum or programs.
