Friday - No seminar activities as all students will complete an activity with their period 2 teachers during seminar for digital citizenship.
The Cancer Awareness Club meets today at lunch in room K-3. Come show your support and learn what you can do to help individuals that are affected by cancer.

Football players-If you are planning to play in the 2015 season, and have your own helmet that you used last season; that helmet must be turned in to Coach Monson by Tuesday January 27th by 3pm. This is mandatory and you will not be charged a fee if you get it in by that date.
Morp is back! The dance will take place on Friday, January 30th in the cafeteria, after the boys’ basketball game and will last until 11:30. Tickets are on sale for $5 in advance. Tickets will cost $10 at the door.

If you buy a pre-sale ticket to Morp, you can get into the boys basketball game vs. Bishop Diego on Friday, January 30th at 7PM for half price! Come support the team before you head over to the dance.
Warrior One documentary will be shown at Matilija Auditorium on Saturday, January 24 at 3:00. Don't miss this exciting film about a group of girls that hike Machu Pichu in Peru. It's a story of friendship, trust and perserverance . The film makers will be at the event to share their stories and answer questions.
Maestro and the Nordhoff High School Music Department announce auditions for the 2nd annual Ojai's Got Talent. Students in grades K-12 who live or go to school in the Ojai Valley are encouraged to audition. All acts including music, drama, comedy, dance or other are welcome. There will be three age categories with cash prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place in each category.
Only students may perform or provide accompaniment for acts. Auditions will be held at Nordhoff High School on Friday, January 30 from 4 to 8 p.m. and Saturday, January 31st from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. All acts should be fully prepared including accompaniment and costumes.
The talent show will take place on Friday, February 6 at 7 p.m. at the Matilija Junior High School auditorium. Tickets will be $10.00.

UC General Info: Seniors, if you applied to a UC, send your ACT/SAT scores to one campus soon. That campus will share w/ all other UCs you applied to. If you need to update your self-reported ACT/SAT scores you can do this by logging onto your application. If you earn below a C in a course you must notify the UC application by email. You will generally be told if you have been accepted by March 31st. Once you are admitted you will submit your official transcript.
If you are interested in taking AP Psychology next year, stop by room D4 this week to get on the list and compete for a spot in next year's class.

The Ventura County Agriculture Museum is hosting an Agriculture Career Fair Thursday January 29th from 4 pm - 7 pm. Meet community members in the agriculture industry and explore careers and internships. For information on location and how to register pick up a flyer in the CCC.
Scholarship Applications for the Optimist Club Scholarship And the Ojai Valley Board of Realtors Scholarship, both due March 3rd, are now available in the College and Career Center. If you wrote your name down for either of these scholarships at the Scholarship Fair, but DID NOT pick up an application, please come to the CCC to pick one up.
New Scholarship Opportunity - CIF/Farmers Scholar-Athlete of the Year available to seniors who have a minimum GPA of 3.5, have played at least two years of varsity athletics including during their senior year, and have portrayed the six pillars of character. Complete application must be mailed and postmarked no later than February 10th. Applications are available in the CCC and online.
Reagan Presidential Foundation Scholars Program applications are now available. This is a great scholarship opportunity open to Ventura County high school students with a minimum 3.0 GPA planning to pursue a bachelor's degree. Pick up a flyer in the CCC, or visit the website to apply online.
Highly motivated students in grades 9-12 who are interested in developing their leadership skills can apply now for the FREE Ronald Reagan Student Leadership Program. This FREE program takes place over the course of five days at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library in Simi Valley. Early admission deadline is February 15th.
